Some of the best home-cooked dishes are also the simplest. This Garlic Stir-Fried Cabbage is a quick vegetable side dish made with just a few everyday ingredients. The cabbage stays slightly crisp while garlic adds fragrance, and a small splash of soy sauce brings everything together.
It is an easy addition to a family dinner and pairs especially well with steamed rice and other Chinese home-style dishes.

Cooking Tips 烹飪技巧
- Keep the heat high so the cabbage cooks quickly without becoming watery.
- Do not add too much soy sauce—the cabbage should remain fresh and lightly seasoned.
- Make sure the cabbage is well drained before stir-frying to prevent excess water in the wok.
- For extra garlic flavour, add a little fresh minced garlic near the end of cooking.
